Based in London Colney, Hertfordshire, we offer an exciting programme of Scouting activities for boys and girls aged 6 to 14 years old.
Our Scout Group is organised in to 3 sections:
Two Beaver Scout Colonies (age 6 to 8 years)
One Cub Scout Packs (age 8 to 10½ years)
The Scout Troop (age 10½ to 14 years)
We currently have over 100 young members from London Colney Village experiencing the excitement that only Scouting can offer.
Staffed by over 20 enthusiastic and committed adult volunteers, we are an active and successful Group always looking for new members, both young people and adults.

Social & Fundraising Committee
A very happy new year to you all....1st London Colney Scout Group are reconvening the Social & Fundraising Committee and we need your help.....Fundraising is an important part of Scouting Operation; it helps to fund the activities provided to the children and also minimises subscription rates.
If you have ideas to arrange fun events and help raise funds for the group at the same time then we would like to hear from you.
We've arranged a meeting for Wednesday 25th January at 7:30 in the Scout Hut. It would be great to see you there, but if you can't make it you can email your ideas to me -

Scouts is fun,
Scouts is nurturing
For everyone,
At Scouts we do marching,
At Scouts we make fires,
At Scout we do cooking,
And make rope swings with tyres,
At winter camp,
When there's frost on my feet,
I recite my promise,
To get me to sleep,
With camps and tournaments all through the year,
Our map reading skills are excellent and clear,
At keeping quite we are sometimes poor,
So kirsty makes us practice our law.
